The market is just the market
The market's up. The market's down. Rates are rising. Rates are falling. Buyers are cautious. Buyers are back.
I've heard it all, and so have you. Most agents spend a lot of their time and energy reacting to all of it, and look, it's not like they're wrong to pay attention. The market does move around. There's just not a lot any of us can do about that.
That's why our team doesn't focus on it. What we focus on instead is pretty simple: what's actually within our control.
How many more calls do we need to make to get another buyer through your door?
Are there buyers in other suburbs who'd love your property if they only knew about it, and how do we reach them?
What can we do differently with marketing that most agents aren't doing?
Yes, it's challenging. But we're enjoying the challenge, because it's where we feel like we're actually adding value. Property isn't selling itself these days, it takes work, strategy, and a team that shows up every day instead of waiting for the market to do the job for them.
If you've been thinking about selling but waiting for things to settle down first, I'd love to have a chat.
